          Nowt to do with Karma. The locals belive the mountain is sacred and the home to the spirits of their ancestors. The belive that by disrespecting it the tourists have pissed off the spirits who have taken their revenge.

          Karma is primerily a Buddist concept, the local tribe invoved are predominantly Christian.
