Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

I'd never touched Oracle until this project and I don't know if it's because of the way the developers here utilise it, but it appears (from the client side) to be the worst piece of software in the history of the world.
Just curious, have you ever tried to achieve anything remotely useful with IBM Data Studio?

Purely out of interest, but do you know that Oracle is a company rather than a product, right?

          Actually it's both.

Er? Searched for the Oracle product but couldn't find it: Applications A to Z | Oracle

Haven't worked with their DB products for quite a while but used to certify them for use with IBM products on Linux, never had any real problems although their earlier DBs (going back 20-25 years) used to be a bit of a pain.

                      All of them.

Here's a simple experiment. Find a company which uses any of those. Then ask them which database platform they are using.

I bet ye, 1 jam tart, they reply "Oracle" and not "Oracle Database".
