Oracle is horrible, but it makes SAS look user friendly in comparisonSocialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.
No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent. -
Just curious, have you ever tried to achieve anything remotely useful with IBM Data Studio?I'd never touched Oracle until this project and I don't know if it's because of the way the developers here utilise it, but it appears (from the client side) to be the worst piece of software in the history of the world. My subconscious is annoying. It's got a mind of its own.Comment

Haven't worked with their DB products for quite a while but used to certify them for use with IBM products on Linux, never had any real problems although their earlier DBs (going back 20-25 years) used to be a bit of a pain.“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment

Here's a simple experiment. Find a company which uses any of those. Then ask them which database platform they are using.
I bet ye, 1 jam tart, they reply "Oracle" and not "Oracle Database".
