Simply the Best Coffee in the World

Since I moved from the North East down to the deep south of West Yorkshire there is only one thing I had to keep getting from back home. Pumphreys coffee, roasted and blended across the river from the site of The Blaydon Races. The Italian High Roast is superb, we get a couple of kilos of these beans and try some of the other more exotic types, Yemen Matari is dreadful, every three weeks or so.

If you like good coffee have a look.
I'm not even an atheist so much as I am an antitheist; I not only maintain that all religions are versions of the same untruth, but I hold that the influence of churches, and the effect of religious belief, is positively harmful. [Christopher Hitchens]

I bought the permmies a nice jar of coffee out of the pound shop when I left my last contract. They were all from Yorkshire so it was bloody luxury for them.

And you could tell that because they all leaned out of the window and made the Nescafé bean shaking hand signal as you drove off?

If you make the trek to Leeds try Laynes Espresso - Leeds Coffee Shop, one of the best I have ever tasted

Do they sell beans or just cups of coffee?

                8 miles.

And 2 for £7 is a great deal. Feeds the family 3 nights. They can even heat their slice up over the candle on days 2 and 3 if they're that way inclined.

I'm used to it mate, spend a lot of time working in Halifax. With me being a tight arsed jock, nights out with Barrydidit were always a competition to avoid paying for the taxi and the drinks

You can get a 16 incher for £8 here. They tantalisingly call it a "bin lid".
