I feel that since rappers can get away with saying the n-word by changing the end spelling to g-g-a, it should be socially acceptable to spell the c-word with a k, therefore no longer making it the c-word.

it was also the 'normal' word used as the collective term for 'the handicapped', hence the organisations that existed at the time having the word 'spastic' in their names.
