To put it into context, as the Labour branch office in Scotland still uses the electoral college system for voting so each member gets sent a ballot for voting. The last time it was reported around 2013, there were 13,500 ballots sent out. They refuse to give a number now but Jim Murphy (#creepyjim on Twitter ) claims 20,000 members although, due to members tearing up their cards, other estimates give them 7,000 at most.

If you put it that way surely its possible that Jim Murphy was elected by SNP members wanting the worst candidate...

No, she's quite right that if England's NHS is cut or privatised, it will affect the amout of money Scotland's NHS gets through the Barnett Formula.

Feel free to demand independence though (that was our Plan B all along)

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Unless it's Farage vs The Pub Landlord it's not going to be worth watching

The Guardian, The Telegraph and YouTube have offered a debate including the greens because they don't have to abide to the ofcom rules.

The Prime Minister hasn't accepted that, though. I'm sure he will, because he was the one saying how important they were in 2010 when he needed them.

Not in total although they could have a say due to the electoral college system whereby the unions, MPs & MSPs and members all get 1/3rd of the vote.

It turns out hardly any unions voted for him and Unite have indicated they may give their backing to the SNP in the future. It's difficult as they are a UK wide union and give £Ms to Labour in subs but a lot of Scottish members have requested they don't pay their subs to Labour now.

Labour are struggling for funds and only managed to do so much during the indyref due to the backing of rich Tory donors.

New Ipsos Mori poll for STV gives SNP (52%) 28 point lead over Labour (24%) in Scotland for voting intentions at the GE2015 (sample size 1001 taken between 12-19th Jan)

It translates to 55 seats for SNP, 4 for Labour and 0 for Cons, LibDems & Ukip

I would imagine more 54 snp, 3 labour (Kirkcaldy won't be as likely to hold as people expect) and 2 lib dems (Highland and Shetland) based on those figures but either way it would be a shock...
