Originally posted by Batcher View PostTo put it into context, as the Labour branch office in Scotland still uses the electoral college system for voting so each member gets sent a ballot for voting. The last time it was reported around 2013, there were 13,500 ballots sent out. They refuse to give a number now but Jim Murphy (#creepyjim on Twitter ) claims 20,000 members although, due to members tearing up their cards, other estimates give them 7,000 at most.merely at clientco for the entertainmentComment

The Guardian, The Telegraph and YouTube have offered a debate including the greens because they don't have to abide to the ofcom rules.
The Prime Minister hasn't accepted that, though. I'm sure he will, because he was the one saying how important they were in 2010 when he needed them.Comment

It turns out hardly any unions voted for him and Unite have indicated they may give their backing to the SNP in the future. It's difficult as they are a UK wide union and give £Ms to Labour in subs but a lot of Scottish members have requested they don't pay their subs to Labour now.
Labour are struggling for funds and only managed to do so much during the indyref due to the backing of rich Tory donors.Comment
