It's a bit like asking, how would contraception change anything? Just because I get fooked by Westminster doesn't mean I want to have their babies."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark Twain -
How do you get 'fooked by Westminster' when you don't even live in the UK ?Originally posted by scooterscot View PostIt's a bit like asking, how would contraception change anything? Just because I get fooked by Westminster doesn't mean I want to have their babies.Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

Hahaha minestrone sockie !!!Originally posted by Cosmokramer View PostIf anything it's the Scottish government to blame. All the cash gets plowed into central belt and Aberdeen gets left in the dust. Aberdeen receives the lowest government funding of any city in Scotland.
Aberdeen is in the doldrums because of the Labour-led council picking fights with the Scottish government and not spending money where the people of Aberdeen want it spent.
7 councillors are in trouble for sending out No propaganda with the council tax bills.Comment

Bid for talks at Aberdeen City Council over Marischal Square scheme | Scotland | News
In January, council finance boss Willie Young told STV Aberdeen abandoning the project would force the city to “repay the developers over £100m in cancellation fees”.
However, it later emerged the sum referred to by the Labour councillor was actually potential profit which would be lost if the Marischal Square development was scrapped - not a cancellation penalty.

If I had been the Tories I would have cancelled this. With the demise of the Oil Industry the only thing it will be good for is running the unemployed to the dole offices (by bus of course) Construction starts on UK’s largest road scheme Ι Construction Enquirer
