Ah yes, Islamic terrorism only started with the Iraq war! They were all sitting at home peacefully saying their prayers before that. Quite true, it was an idiotic blunder but whether it has made things all that much worse than they would have been I am not so sure. There have been failed attempts at bombings in both France and Germany whose governments had the sense to oppose the war. Meanwhile the casualties of other nations who never had anything at all to do with the war continue to rise.
