People who put letters after their name in their Email Sig <POLL>
You think thats bad, Germans don't do that but put the word Doctor in front of their names if they have a doctorate in something or other. Some even have 'Professor Doctor Doctor' if they have qualified in more than one subject, which is just downright idiotic and I make a point of just calling them plain old 'Herr'
Yeah I had to call one guy Herr DoppeltDoktor (Mister double doctor) when I worked in Germany. If I wouldn't address him like that he would not look at you and be very very pissed
I used to work with a guy whose email signature had DR before his name.
I used to work with someone who had put his first name on LinkedIn as "Doctor Donald" because his degree in archaeology and classics was relevant to his work as a sales guy at Oracle.
