I went to a DE safety razor this year after refusing to pay close to £3 a time for a gillette fusion head. Personna DE blades cost me about 12p a time, plus lathering up is fun and oddly satisfying

Will probably stop wasting money on shaving at all. Or washing.
PS Oh yes, I did that a few years ago.

How do you find the quality relative to Gilette?

Gillette Venus. But the heads have got some sort of gel thing that adheres to the side of the bath if you don't replace it in its holder thingy. I bought an expensive epilator, but get ingrowing hairs with it, so shaving it is.

Once I learned to shave properly and stopped cutting myself, and found blades to suit, the shave is much closer and my skin is much better for it.

                Dettol and a wire brush.

                Same as for everything else.

I normally use an electric razor but prefer real shaving when I've the time. In the past I used Mach3 and an orange one that had a AA battery in the handle (Fusion?) but could never decide if that was a gimmick.

                  Right now I'm using a Tesco Mach 3 rip-off I think.

                    Electric every time.

Quicker, cheaper, virtually no chance of cuts and if you need to shave twice a day, painless and doesnt give you shaving rash.

Wet shaving I always had to throw the blades away after 3 shaves as they had dulled (yes, I know you can strop them).
