If so, F* Ludicrous! I suppose some might see it that way but people sometimes make jokes without seeing quite how other people might view it. To suggest he would seriously advocate rape is nuts and I suggest this decision is reviewed.

More to the point, the change in the law in NI is yet another example of how our society if being taken back into Victorian prudery. I agree no bloke should knowlngly pay for sex with a trafficked woman who has no choice in the matter but, at one time, it was possible to do so with the consent of both sides, with women who made their own choices.

Yet one more example of the "wonderful" effects of unchecked mass immigration that is taking our society backwards. Illegal immigration, crime and trafficking are inevitable consequences of legal immigration from poor countries when it is not properly controlled.

Rather daft extension really. Is it OK for me to give you a cigarette if you want one knowing it will cut 3 seconds off your life? Where does start begin and end finish? Everything in life is arbitrary and relative, we just have to make a judgement, weigh up the pros and cons, balance individual rights and the good of society. Absolutes are for irrational religion.

On prostitution: We should certainly criminalise any force or pressure used on women. We should try and help those who enter it because of drug addiction or poverty. But there are no good grounds for preventing normal women who make their own choice because they see it as a good living.

I never had a problem with the guy, in fact I quite liked him.

It's a fact of life that people disagree on fundamental issues and that can cause upset, but I don't like the thought police.
