He had a negative bluety on a quackhandle and was quadraspazzed on a lifeglug.
I look forward to your all knowing and likely sarcastic and unhelpful reply.

No, I just think that working is 'beneath' me now. I'm destined for greater things.Originally posted by Dallas View PostYou are clearly stupid, should go perm and fill your boots on career-based training..

I am seriously bored at my current gig. I'm paid a good day rate for an 8 hour day but am actually productive for less than an hour of that. I actually have to find things to do to kill the time.
I seriously wonder why they need me as I'm more used to hitting the ground running and going full steam ahead for up to 12 hours a day. I thought I was seriously under performing and would end up with a one hit gig and have been actively looking for other stuff but the last couple of weeks have been really interesting. Firstly I've been continually congratulated on the excellent work I'm doing (what work???????), secondly my colleagues (all permies) have admitted that they have nothing to do either so we're all in the same boat, and thirdly they've offered me a 6 month extension.
I can only guess that my standards and pace are higher than theirs. I do in 3 months what I would normally expect to complete in 3 weeks and they're happy with that. Since everyone else is in the same boat I'm pretty much going to take it as a well deserved break and drag it out for as long as I can.
Just need to find a way to fill the time. I feel some 3 hour lunch breaks coming on.Comment

I usually post under the business / contracts section but obviously this post was relocated to General. At that point I noticed the doodab thread and it has really put things into context for me. Moved me to tears it has. Made me realise I can be a real kn0b at times. Also made me realise I have things to achieve that can't wait. RIP doodab.Comment
