            The key is finding a gig that excites you, I have turned down many higher paid contracts for noddy BAU type work, adding capacity to an already over stretched team.

            Being a contractor means you get to choose the project you want, so id you're bored its your own fault

            (PS Mods can this be moved to general to get a "broader" response)

              It's your life. Stop moaning and do something else with it.

              Personally I enjoy it. Love coding, love IT. The fact that I have been well rewarded over the last couple of decades is a happy by-product.
