I think in this case it might just have been the last straw. She threw a proper wobbly on LBC a couple of weeks ago.Comment

Middle class champagne socialists who try to make a virtue of their socialist credentials are essentially self serving hypocrites. They think that their empty gesture of voting for labour is somehow going to help those less fortunate than themselves. Their self satisfied unwavering support for everything that is labour ensures that people are condemned to a life of shoddy education standards, ill health and inadequate housing. They want to subject others to dependency upon the totems of socialism whilst they enjoy living in a world far apart from the misery of public sector services. Private education for the kids or at least mobile enough to move to an area with decent grammar schools or even the odd decent state primary or comprehensive. Private medical, house in a nice area (you wouldn't want to live in a sink area where all the immigrants and plebs live would you?)
They don't like being identified with the "Toffy" or "selfish" Tories even though their behaviour is as selfish as any iffy banker or dodgy MP. People who are more successful than they are make them nervous and stir up the envy in themselves. It is likely that they will vote Tory so the middle class lefties want to stick one up them! They have hijacked the labour party/socialism purely for their own ends.
Anyway I have news for you. Beautifully illustrated by the sneering Emily Thornberry who neatly shows just how little champagne socialists care about anyone other than themselves.
These are labour core voters, the "real" comrades that the lefties like to be seen "at one" with. These are the people who have a genuine cause to vote labour. A party they have always thought will look after their interests. If nothing else labour has served to put a brake on the privileged being able to serve themselves at the expense of the poor. Socialism identifies with the power of the working people because traditional labour supporters are precisely that - working people.
Emily Thornberry shows just what champagne socialists really think of the working classes:
