It was not our intention to take over Germany - we did not want to repeat mistakes of Versailles treaty.

Germany wanted - and still wants to - rule the world. At the moment they are taking to do it via the Euro. Amazing that South Europe falls for it.

Mind you, everyone knows the way out of the Euro mess. They just don't know how to get re-elected afterwards.
