Foreign motorists can expect to start paying to drive on German motorways from 2016, the country’s transport minister said on Thursday.

Cash-strapped Germans at it again
As this is it only foreigners who will pay; the legality is questionable."A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims, but accomplices," George Orwell -

Been that way on Austria's motorways for as long as I've been here. So I use the A roads. Anyway if you're a tourist you don't travel on the motorways, you'll miss the sights. And besides you're forever stuck behind these slow Dutch drivers, now soon to include British drivers."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". When I first dove in Europe it was only France and Italy that charged for motorways. When I last drove to Turkey there were four countries to buy road tax. Austria if one of the most expensive I only need a couple of hours on the motorway. I lived in the Tyrol for three years and I have no wish to go sight seeing.Originally posted by scooterscot View PostBeen that way on Austria's motorways for as long as I've been here. Their roads are rather crappy too. But when it comes to potholes the UK has the rest of the continent trumped.

It's a bit stupid though. As in the bigger towns and cities lots of people remain near the university they went to."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment
