Back to the original point; Labour still won the PCC Election for South Yorkshire this week on an 80% postal vote. That's not turkeys voting for Christmas, that's culprits voting for a cover up.

I would be very interested to see the percentage split of those postal votes against the ones at the ballot box.

Yes, I believe that postal voters within these Parkistani neighbourhoods are leant on by their peers to vote a certain way. Usually Labour.

I think a few lessons for the girls about "self respect" wouldn't go amiss either. Did the girls really think that those nice Pakistani men were plying them with alcohol, drugs and cigarettes out of generosity?

There is no doubt in my mind that the girls were victims in all this and they may have been let down by "the system" - if they were never taught not to accept gifts from strangers then they should've been.

I don't see a problem with mentioning this. Educating our children of these dangers obviously failed here, and there are many possible reasons for that.

Since the story was first broken by the Times, important points have been made clear again and again.

1) Terrible crimes have been perpetrated against young women and girls.
2) The perpetrators are almost exclusively Pakistani men
3) These men viewed their victims as being fair game on the grounds that they were Western and white.
4) The authorities worked very hard, on stupid ideological grounds, to suppress the fact of 2)

I won't permit this discussion to cross the line into racism - under particular scrutiny will come any generalisations about Muslims or Pakistanis.

Very simple syndrome, visible on a daily basis here in West Yorkshire, certain ethnic/religious groups are so prone to screaming racist that the rest of us run in fear and don't dare to step on their precious toes in dread of being accused.
Political correctness has been raised to the level of untouchable religious dogma. NAT's attitude is just a classic example.

Mohamed married a 12 year old, so it seems that Muslims regard children as fair game for sexual relationships. If we don like that we have to prosecute them or kick them out, preferably both.

People in many cultures historically married much younger than today. Stop trying to use this to fuel hate at whichever groups you are unhappy with.
