The cars had foreign number plates and therefore would have to go through a 'tramite' (a process of great length) through the 'aduana' (customs) which would have taken at least 4 weeks and under the eyes of many bureaucrats - and they didn't see it???
Even if they had a 'fixer' to pay the customs off - they didn't see it either?Comment
