I will also point out that what the Mcanns was pretty well risk free. it is not as if holiday camps have a history of child abduction is it?
The likelihood of that risk being realised was low.
However the impact if this risk was realised were very high.
And so anyone who has done basic risk management would be able to put a matrix together and it would be a yellow

The last McCann thread got to nearly 800 posts I think. Wonder if this will.Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

Is there a 'made for TV' film yet?“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment

Talking about risk, I would imagine there was more risk leaving them at home under the care of someone known to the family if the statistics are to be believed. So all of you caning the McCanns just remember that when you are thinking about leaving your little mini-me cherubs with 'Uncle Jimmy'!
I'd never wish this kind of misery on anyone but over the years, it's mildly amusing thinking which of the people defending the McCanns would have been incensed if it was a dole mother in the spotlight instead of two very well educated people?Comment
