Cling onto that tight. It may get you through some tough times.

A++ to third world in a generation

So London becomes independent, that would mean that:
      - Westminster would relocate to Manchester/Birmingham (somewhere more central in the UK certainly)
      - many of the support/parasitical/lobbying concerns would follow the government
      - all national bodies and institutions:- BoE, MOD, museums, BBC, CAA, The Monarchy PLC etc would have to relocate outside Londinium's borders
      - as Londinium will have seceded from the UK it would have to leave the EU removing it's advantages as a global finance centre
      - when new reservoir is established in Oxfordshire and the Thames rerouted the former river bed reverts to an open sewer
      - in an ironic twist of fate a new hub airport is built on reclaimed land in the former Thames estuary with the biggest tidal barrage in the world across the mouth

All in all an excellent idea
