The Scottish political heavyweights have now turned their attention to Scotland and Salmond has now gone. It looks bleak for the SNP.Last edited by BlasterBates; 19 September 2014, 15:39.I'm alright JackComment

Only 24 hours ago certain people on this forum were gleefully predicting the end of Cameron, Milliband and Clegg and the collapse of the UK.
And now Salmond has fallen on his sword.
A day really is a long time in politics.Comment

Alex Salmond ‘won’t step down’ in event of No vote - The Scotsman, 04/09/2014 16:20
"During a walk-about on Glasgow’s Buchanan Street, which saw Mr Salmond and Ms Sturgeon mobbed by Yes supporters, the First Minister was asked if he would resign in the event of a No vote.
“No,” the First Minister answered during a lively event, staged to mark the 10th anniversary of the duo taking over at the top of the SNP after the resignation of John Swinney."
Terrible, isn't it, the way these people say one thing, then do another when it suits them?Comment

The 3 amigos wrote a 'vow' to the people of Scotland and had it printed with their signatures on the front of the Daily Record. They agreed to keep to Gordon Brown's timetable and they've broke that promise less that 12 hours after the count was declared.
The Nos were warned about that because the same thing happened in 1979.Comment
