One does rather wonder not want to know what agents do in empty houses.

      Busted!!!
Actually, I have a simple wireless IP camera setup, and used it to view when we were selling Kevpuk Towers a few months back......watched our Estate Agent conduct 4 viewings (quick ones, one after the other, fact fans) and listened in to the conversation. Note that I only had one camera, so was limited to when bods were in the living room or hall (audio only, just about).
This meant I knew who was going to offer, and whether they were keen/offering full asking etc.
All good, bit sneaky, hey-ho! Arguably the best bit was sneakily viewing and listening on laptop from ClientCo - invoicing and espionage in one day!

Not sure this is legal tho It's one thing using this stuff as intruder detection but they weren't intruders.

People record nannies and carers to check they aren't abusing love ones. The footage is allowed to be used to sack them.

Pretty convinced there's nothing illegal about it - private individuals don't need to conform to the DPA or anything else.

You see so many such stories, care workers helping themselves to old people's savings or smacking them around, plumbers peeing in water tanks, cooks tossing off into the salad etc. I think if one knew too much about what people get up to when they think nobody is looking one would have to become a hermit.

Agents, they're all the same. Helping themselves to something they din't work for.

Seem to recall, from my problem neighbour days, it's ok if CCTV covers your own property, with the obvious exceptions.

This diabetic thing is just rubbish. He should always carry round something just in case. Pillock.
