Typical establishment attack on the man. If you actually look at what he said:Originally posted by DodgyAgent View PostSays it all about the self serving vanity of the man and his party. It also tells us a great deal also about the chippy idiots that are following him.
He's not comparing the elections at all, he is simply drawing attention to the fact that people are queuing up to register to vote, the only other time he has seen that was in South Africa. Don't let the truth get in the way of a good dose of bile though. Keep it coming, it's all helping. It's not Salmond who's doing the running here, all he needs to do is sit back and let the patronising bollox from the establishment drive the voters to him.Last Monday I saw something which I did not ever think I would see in my political life. In Dundee, I saw people queuing up – and it was not a short queue, it was a long queue – to register to vote.
Almost reminiscent of the scenes in South Africa that some of us of a certain age remember from 20 years ago or so when people queued up to vote in the first free elections. I saw people queuing up to put in their registration forms to vote.
People who frankly couldn’t give a stuff about political parties or any politician are now engaged joyfully in this electoral process, and, just for the absence of any doubt, they weren’t queuing up to vote No, they were queuing up to vote Yes."I hope Celtic realise that, if their team is good enough, they will win. If they're not good enough, they'll not win - and they can't look at anybody else, whether it is referees or any other influence." - Walter Smith

No he's going to adopt a far-right economic policy by trying to run a country without a central bank or it's own currency.Originally posted by vetran View Postwhy is he going to shut unprofitable nationalised industries and fix the economy?Comment

And the buffoon Prescott has waded in on the NO side, but being as thick as pigsh1t he has somehow ended up promoting the YES vote!

If you are stupid enough to take what he says at face value then you have a point. It is a bit like when he was waving the scottish flag at Wimbledon when Murray was playing. "Oh he is only supporting Scotland and Andy Murray" when in actual fact it was part of the manipulation process for Scottish independence.Originally posted by Incognito View PostTypical establishment attack on the man. However he spins it he is trying to sneakily manipulate people into likening the independence movement to the overthrow of Apartheid. He wants to make people think (on some level) that it is a fight between the oppressed and the downtrodden.
