I have a collector's item which I will replace once it gives up the ghost.
It picks up dust and hairs so is good enough for me."I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."

Yep we have one. We have the previous one without the wand as well. ****s me off they can't do interchangeable bits like apple but still, SWMBO loves it (also a clean freak). We have stone floors so it's perfect. Well worth the money for us.
Just be careful if you take the wand out at all. The two pins between the wand and the unit are prone to breaking. We have had two replacement wands in less than a year but we do store it without the wand on so take it on and off daily.
Also if you are doing carpets check the flexible hose in the bottom attachment. Being curved and ribbed it's forever getting bunged up. You can just see if you look down it and can clear it with some long nosed pliers so not really a biggie but keep an eye on it.
EDIT : Seems it's not just us.. Here is a picture of what I mean..

Although if NW2PC needs the cash, he can wear his pinny, put on an East Eurpoean accent and earn a few quid beating KP into an inch of his life with a Dyson Wand while KP stands to attention in nothing but his Union Flag bowler hat singing Land of Hope and Glory.Originally posted by vetran View Postbe careful when you invite KentPhillip round you know what he is like.Comment

Not owned the DC44 you mentioned but have use Dyson vacuum cleaners for about 12-13 years and pleased with the results, 1.2 inches to length and about .5 to the girth.

It's a modern thing, in the olden days, when you bought a ball pein hammer, you knew it meant what it said on the tinOriginally posted by TheFaQQer View PostOne thing I've found is that the names of the Dyson products aren't as clear as they should be.
I was recently hospitalised after I misunderstood what the Dyson Ball Cleaner was meant to do.(\__/)
