Why when you can buy it on a monthly basis with no interest charged and make a decision 1 year later to either pay the loan off and sell or just hand the phone back based on its market value next September....

Long and short is I doubt Apple or the operators will be doing the buy now pay later out of the goodness of their hearts, it will always cost more in the long run than buying the handset out right and finding a good value sim only tariff
