Yes have manipulated the young, stupid, and poor by telling them they are going to get a better standard of living. It is all going to turn nasty when none of this arrives and I can see anyone with any talent getting out the country.

Nope, all they say is Scotland should be run from Scotland, that's it. Such a simple idea and you still don't get it because you read the Daily Mail and have no self confidence which you project onto Scotland and her people.

Each area announces separately so you could get some of the smaller ones around 2am.

There was some exit polling being done this morning at my place of voting, so I guess there may be some predictions ahead of time.

Not sure they'll be any use.

Only if they show a big majority one way or another.

I was listening to the news a few days ago and they stated this would be the only election/referendum without exit polling.

There is just a news blackout about the referendum until 10pm.

Usually exit polling is done by professionals or media. I think the campaigns are doing a rough exit poll, there is no black out online.

We'll get something after the polls close, maybe a bit later as anybody in a queue to vote at 22:00 will get to vote.

If they don;t have some exit polls to talk about the telly is going to be a bit dull until the first results start coming in.

....the blackout applies (voluntarily I think) to UK media - it won't stop them covering the event, but will avoid any positioning from the campaigns. Kinda makes sense.
