You don't know either, you are basing your opinion on what the Spanish say. It's the typical scare tactic, take an unknown then look for the worst case scenario (5 years) then spout that as fact.

errr No. If you could be bothered you could read the Article 48 and 49 criteria, you could read what the EU, Spanish, Germans, Italians, Belgians etc. have been saying on the matter. It may not be five years, but to assume an easy passage, retention of the rebate and no fiscal rules is stupidly niave.

The EU do, in the end, have a say in this. If you wish to discount their evidence because it doesn't suit your narrative that's a bit rubbish.

If an iScotland join the EU they won't be ruled by Westminister's rules but Germany's.

This is why Westminister would be happy of an iScotland being in the EU as iScotland couldn't get away with mad spending plans with no means to pay for them with rUK having to bail them out.

You shouldn't mention Scots and convictions in the same sentence.

I'm not a Scot. I'm a Brit. And maybe on Friday I'll be English.

But you will still be whatever you are today. Which is unprintable.

Aw c'mon. Is the force of common sense getting to you?

Real Scottish people? would you like to deport the rest? Perhaps anyone you don't like the look of should be asked to leave the great land of Salmond?

This is nationalism for you - total bollocks

There you go, I never said any of that. There are Real Scottish people that will vote no for good reason of their own. It's the ones that relay the fear and bs fro the daily mail that I would gladly kick out.

Except iScotland would have the power to leave the EU by a simple Act of the Scottish Parliament at any point and without the consent of the EU. It has no power at all to leave the UK without the consent of the UK Parliament.

They only need a simple majority for 48 so that would get through no problem.

iScotland according to the SNP want to be in the EU so why would they leave?
