a good cabin friendly rolling luggage case that has a decent build quality that can hold enough stuff for a week away?
Sounds like someone doesn't change their clothes every day.
You're only allowed 7kg in cabin, which includes the weight of the bag. Wheeled mechanisms add quiet a lot to this so you may only get 5kg of stuff in the bag.
In Winter you're unlikely to fit 7 days of stuff including jumpers etc.

You have heard of a washing machine and iron haven't you? Also they don't stop you wearing two or three jumpers when you go on board. Though they have now cut down on the number of coats you are allowed to wear....

Have one of these on order since May but although it let me put the order in its been shown as out of stock ever since, anyone got a recommendation for a good cabin friendly rolling luggage case that has a decent build quality that can hold enough stuff for a week away?
I bought one of these a few years back and it's pretty good, not cheap but with a lifetime guarantee, you can't argue.
Easily get lots of stuff in there for a week away.

Mine was as cheap as chips, from Tesco, but don't let that put you off. It is one of those superlight ones, used every week for two years with no apparent signs of serious wear.
It has the wide handles that NLUK loathes, but my need was quite specific - I invariably fly on Cityjet/Flybe who have reduced overhead storage space in the flights I take, so this was ideal. I manage to fit my shirts, socks, thongs, jeans, kindle etc in with room to spare, and I'm a big unit so my stuff takes up more space.
EDIT: Doesn't seem to be available (in the unlikely event you'd suddenly become interested in cheap tat).
There should be a fatwa on ' apprentice ' wheeled cases and their owners, I've lost count of the number of times some tw@t tries to run over my foot with them in a public place. use a holdall you're not disabled
I think you're being a little unkind. I'm quite impressed at my ability to charge off the plane into the airport terminal simultaneously driving over other people's toes while reading my texts and holding a crap in.
My M.O is to book the last aisle seat, rock up at the final call, stuff my hold all under my seat and be halfway home by the time the wheely bag merchants are still chopping eachother's toes off on the plane
