Aftr a wobbly start I think he's a pretty good Dr Who, eccentric and odd but in a more appropriate way than Tennant and Smith. He's acting well, they're writing him well, just need some better stories.

Since Christopher Eccleston, the Doctor has managed to pilot the TARDIS without error every time (except one with Tennant).
So why doesn't Clara go on an adventure, have a nap (or a shower or a change or something to relax) to recover, then get the Doctor to use the quick return switch to drop her off exactly where she was, rather than having her rush from adventure to date to adventure to date with increasingly ridiculous excuses?Comment

Matt Smith turned up to the right place, albeit 20 years later(!)What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions!Comment

Adequate.
A concept I'd not previously encountered, though sentient stars do appear here & there.
Could this be a Doctor too far. What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions!Comment

When Clara can't decide if she's going in the Tardis or not today, he should just say this:
(warning: Malcolm Tucker is sweary)

Its the Clara & Dr show again.
Maybe next episode we can have the Doctor threaten to or actually hit her see how long before there is some outrage.Comment

Agreed. This particular Doctor needs to lay the law down. "Get back in that kitchen bitch and make me some ******* fish fingers & custard else you're getting the back of my ******* hand!"What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions!Comment

Domestic violence against men - Live Well - NHS Choices
I was just commenting on two instances in the last 3 episodes that would be considered domestic violence if they were man on woman. Not sure if that is going somewhere but if its not and just a toughening up of 'wimmin' in the series its not appropriate especially considering the audience.
If he did tell her to get back in the kitchen then I imagine there would be outrage.
offences against both sexes are abhorrent by the way before anyone gets confused.
The weakening of the Doctor is not required to strengthen the female cast. Elisabeth Sladen and Billie Piper for instance managed to cross the gulf easily without becoming unpleasant.Comment
