Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

      How did she 'destroy' it?

Nor do I particularly care much for the artificial entity of Britain. If the Scots want out, England is the better off for letting them do it.

Great Britain is a geographical term so is much less artificial than any sub-divisions. Not that I much care one way or another.

I'm not sure there really has been a political entity of Great Britain since 1801. There is the UK, which includes NI.
