These Scottish MP's of which you speak are WESTMINSTER MPs. I refer the honourable gentleman to my first post on this thread. You are a fucking retard.

Why would having a few dozen Scottish LABOUR MPs in the WESTMINSTER parliament give Salmond the power to call a referendum in England ? Dick !

I would like to point out to the honourable Chip Van Owner that 'Bucky' & 'Fish & Chips' are an English invention, so you can **** off & just sell deep fried Mars Bars instead.

Think you'll find that the Monks of Buckfast Abbey are fully supportive of a currency union, post independence.

Learn the power to read I never said that, I'd call you a dick but it would be an insult to dicks
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Where exactly did you get the bit about Alex Salmond being crowned king ? It's not the first time you've said it, so would absolutely love to see your source material.

The chances are, Alex Salmond would never even be Prime Minister (or whatever it would be called) of an independent Scotland. Scotland would not become independent the day after the referendum. The process would take around 18 months. The final part of which, would be an election.

Try to stop talking shite about something you clearly know nothing about.
ironically I was quoting the Independent

Alex Salmond: The new king of Scotland - Profiles - People - The Independent

The slur I was bestowing on the arrogant and opportunist Alex was very real however. A crown would suit his style. However you notice I never suggested he should be crowned King that was your invention - a freudian slip maybe?

Now there are 52 MP's from Scittish Constituencies in Westminster. I know they don't vote on everything but they do have an impact. Scottish born Tony B'liar (I assume the good people of Scotland didn't want him) for instance started the slide to independence. Bruin screwed the economy etc.

Try to lay off the bucky old chap its not doing you any good. You are getting loud & objectionable.
Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

Scottish nationalistic ideals? Teary eyes for the mother land? Brave new future for a new small nation in Europe? Self determination?

                  Don't make me laugh.

Scottish pride can be bought for a despicable 30 pieces of silver, a measly £500...

In the 2013 report - involving the interviewing of 1,497 people between June and October - the suggestion was......

52% would support independence, and 30% would oppose it if £500 a year better off
15% would support independence, and 72% would oppose it if £500 a year worse off

BBC News - Scottish independence: Is £500 the referendum deal breaker?
People whose principles can be so easily bought don't deserve a place in any union I'd want to be a part of.

Only if both states (independent / not independent) can co-exist, old chap, which clearly they can't.

I think the point remains as originally mooted. A significant percentage of those Scots surveyed have revealed themselves to be habitual, but very shallow, complainers, whose principles can be easily bought. Perhaps Putin should offer them a few quid each to join Russia?
