I usually take a few days or a week off here and there, but this summer's been bad - of the 31 days in July, I've invoiced for 27 if them.

Just had a look and over the past 2x 12 month periods (12/13 and 13/14) I have billed 243 and 222 days.Never has a man been heard to say on his death bed that he wishes he'd spent more time in the office.Comment

Take nearly as many hols as permies. Dont waste the odd day like permies do but still take weeks off to go on hols etc.
When the kids grow up they aint gonna think dad was good he worked all the time, they're going to think stuff him he never took us away.
Normally have xmas off but this year gig is likely to end 31st dec so I'll be working. Getting the last few days in becauase there'll be time off in january. also office will be quiet I guess so easy money.Rhyddid i lofnod psychocandy!!!!Comment
