I usually take a few days or a week off here and there, but this summer's been bad - of the 31 days in July, I've invoiced for 27 if them.

About six weeks. Maybe eight weeks - usually depends on how long the half term is.

Why do you spend so much time moaning about it then? Honestly, Psychocandy is happier with his gig than you are with yours.

Yes you have to remember that MF was the fat kid who was bullied throughout his school life. He now finds a limited sense of retribution by sinking into his disturbed psyche and concocting fables of fortunes and adventures that extend beyond any normal human reason or perception.

Either that or he's just a fatty fat fat.

Just had a look and over the past 2x 12 month periods (12/13 and 13/14) I have billed 243 and 222 days.
Never has a man been heard to say on his death bed that he wishes he'd spent more time in the office.

If you are working every day you are in the wrong job. Stop. Slow down. Enjoy life. You will be a long time dead.

Current contract will end at Xmas, planning 2-3 months holiday.

They may offer me an extention, I may not be able to say no

Take nearly as many hols as permies. Dont waste the odd day like permies do but still take weeks off to go on hols etc.

When the kids grow up they aint gonna think dad was good he worked all the time, they're going to think stuff him he never took us away.

Normally have xmas off but this year gig is likely to end 31st dec so I'll be working. Getting the last few days in becauase there'll be time off in january. also office will be quiet I guess so easy money.
                      Rhyddid i lofnod psychocandy!!!!
