So I have a 10 month old laptop and spilled some liquid on it so a number of the keys no longer work.
So I took it to a laptop repair place and who cleaned the insides and under all the keys but that did not fix anything, the assumption was that the keyboard circuit has been shorted. Contacted the manufacturer ( very large manufacturer) and they no longer stock the keyboard.
So it is under warranty... do I plead ignorance and take it back to the place of purchase ( very large store )?
I can only assume if they go ahead and sort it the costs will eventually be going to the manufacturer who in some way are not playing ball with not stocking replacement parts.
What do you think?
