Soon everyone will be asking just WTF the US/UK etc have been doing in Syria for a year apparently "battling ISIS" while they've only got stronger...

And having to admit what they've been really doing there (training/arming/funding moderate rebels ttrying to oust Assad) must be quite hard to spin.

Opinions of Assad aside - being told we're there to do one job (bomb ISIS) while that clearly hasn't been the case and we're just helping am agenda to overthrow the Syrian government - is this acceptable?
