They just throw more bobs at the problem, what has happened is now probably irreversible for most places and one of the reasons I am very fussy about where I work.

Fairly common for financials to have offshored everything excluding high level dev, BA and PM work, that invariably means the lonely dev chasing up folk in India for a week to get something simple like the heap size of a server changed.

Hahaha you been replaced by a bob haven't you?

I define a bob as a very low skilled cheap resource from a country with low education standards. (Just incase someone comes on saying there are bob Doctors etc).

Unix, you are clearly clueless and have not been around much.

I have seen many whole workforces, multi thousand people, replaced by Bobs, the good the bad and the exceptional.

I have worked inside Bob outsourcing outfits and know how evil they are.

To make light of this is a disgrace.

Not me personally, but a bunch of excellent software engineers who used to give us top notch support were.

It isn't something you want to be gloating about, sunshine.
