      I don't see these roles disappearing any time soon. Yes a decent amount are being offshored, but at the same time the demand for them grows. There will always be roles for people who are good at what they are doing. If you are rubbish - that's different story. Large enterprises aside, a decent amount of SMEs prefer in-house teams that can deliver quality service and/or their demands are too small to engage a large offshoring supplier.

      Like already stated, the offshoring affect not only IT but nearly every other white collar sector.

      I would be interested to hear what people would recommend, if not IT
