you are probably right people want Putin to be guilty but I do not reckon he was.

he may have some rogue soldiers doing it for the good of Mother Russia and he may approve but I doubt it could ever be traced back to him directly.

Many of those are being killed using US supplied weaponry that found their way from Syria into ISIS hands. Odd that Obama and the gang seem to forget that when he's busy trying to start a war with Russia.

To answer my own question - I care. But I think there are several posters on this thread who would be a bit hypocritical to say that they do too.

Maybe you can suggest how the US and the rest of the democratic free world (of which you are one of the wealthiest beneficiaries) should play out International politics? We have moved on from the pathetic racist innuendo that you have made to the point where the families of those who have been killed are being treated equally no matter the colour of the skin of their families. The US and the west in general are doing their best to deal with the aftermath of this attack as best they can.
Where do you get the idea that anyone is trying to start a war with Russia?
Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyone

Do you believe they shot it down knowing it was a civilian plane?

Well if you want to make it look insignificant you can also see it this way Every second 3 people de on this planet so 300 deaths is just 100 seconds of additional deaths, so totally insignificant if you compare it to the 2522880000 seconds (80 years) an average person in Western Europe will live

The U.S. aim is to install a government in Ukraine that will favor joining NATO, something which ousted President Viktor Yanukovych was against as are a majority of the Ukraine people.

The Washington-initiated overthrow of Ukraine’s government along with the referendum in Crimea to join Russia has already forced U.S. oil firms to place their plans on hold. At a cost of $735 million, Exxon and Royal Dutch Shell had planned to drill two wells in the Black Sea some 80 kilometers from Crimea’s southwest coast however, due to unrest in Ukraine and the uncertain status of Crimea, the exploration licenses acquired by the oil giants now have dubious legality. While the drilling was to be off the coast of Crimea, it was the former Ukrainian government of Viktor Yanukovych that granted the licenses to explore in an area, which soon may no longer be under Ukrainian jurisdiction.

The final U.S. goal is to encircle Russia with anti-missile batteries, which could down any Russian missile, thus allowing the possibility of a NATO nuclear first-strike. And for those who still believe U.S. leaders have concern for anyone but themselves, a moment’s reflection on Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland’s recent expletives concerning the EU should dispel any such notion.

More of an accusation than an innuendo.

From the bellicose rhetoric being spouted in this thread & from politicians like John Kerry.

The separatist rebels posted on social media claims that they had shot down a Ukrainian plane in the same location, at the same time.

Boasts that were hastily withdrawn as the reality dawned upon them.

Not in my book. The blame goes to the people who fired the missile and the people who supplied it.

There's a big difference between just dying, and being murdered/killed for geopolitical ends.
I don't want to make anything look insignificant. Just pointing out some hypocrisy. You sound defensive.
