Even ignoring all of that, we seem to be forgetting that the Ukrainians staged a violent coup d'etat, and then went to war with those in other regions of the country who didn't want to play any more. This anti-russian sentiment is ridiculous. -

There was never a coup let alone a violent one, if there was violence it was the previous regime using snipers on innocent protesters
- The same MP's who were in parliament at the time are still in parliament
- The president cowardly fled his country (Many billions of ££ have disappeared in his pockets during his kleptocratic reign)
- A new president has been democratically elected in the mean time
So where was this coup you and your Russian comrades are speaking about?Comment

Who flies a plane over warzone airspace where planes have been shot down recently.

Ignoring the fact that Ukraine was under control of a tyrant and the behaviour of the Russians is spectacularly cruel. Mind you I don't read the Tehran Times so I might have missed their point of view.Originally posted by SpontaneousOrder View PostEven ignoring all of that, we seem to be forgetting that the Ukrainians staged a violent coup d'etat, and then went to war with those in other regions of the country who didn't want to play any more. Never took you to be a fundieTehran Times began in 1979 as a foreign-language newspaper to air the voice of the Islamic Revolution. The policy that the newspaper has been following has been based on the guideline set by Ayatollah Mohammad Hossein Beheshti who said: "Tehran Times is not state-owned newspaper (Tehran Times is not the newspaper of government), rather it must be the voice of the Islamic Revolution and the oppressed people in the world.”
