I'm going to get a load of beach gravel I think. But first I need to fill in the wall with a good quantity of top soil so that the plants have some substrate in which to grow. Then I'll apply a weed proof membrane over the top of that before covering in gravel.Comment

£300 for 30m2 new from eBay.
I wanted a new patio and a couple of paths. Can't stand concrete paving.Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.Comment
