There's no mention of contractors. Its about the self-employed and freelancers, the people that IPSE represent.
Not quite, it's the people IPSE wish to represent to remain as a business now they've failed to do anything to protect their original membership...

Now I wasn't expecting any scheme to rescue contractors but by focusing on their new audience I suspect IPSE's original membership should finally grasp and understand where they are in IPSE's new management's list of importance.

Fair's fair... they were never going to be able to please everyone when they broadened their market demographics. That broader market diversification never manifested itself as increased membership, but the die had been cast for their current predicament: they appear to represent everyone and no-one.

They can't do good for one group without another group being ****ed over.

          Schadenfreude?

          Yeah, I've heard that said.

That must have pissed off a few in the SLT!
I was an IPSE Consultative Council Member, until the BoD abolished it. I am not an IPSE Member, since they have no longer have any relevance to me, as an IT Contractor. Read my lips...I recommend QDOS for ALL your Insurance requirements (Contact me for a referral code).

IPSE US no longer has a page reflecting the association / directors including the IPSE UK lot.

If ever there was a display of their pivot towards stay at home parents doing door to door selling/pyramid schemes etc - this was it.
