If she is genuinely doing no work at all yet your intention is to keep her on the payroll, then there is an argument that the help should be available to you.
The second you ask her to do some work, you lose the benefit. So do be very, very certain that there is absolutely nothing for her to do.

That is clear for an employee, if a Director is keeping a company going I wonder what "providing services" really means... let's hope IPSE provide some clarity.

Hi <name deleted>. We had it confirmed in our discussions that continuing with the statutory responsibilities of a Director will not count against being furloughed as an employee. If your not working, then you can be furloughed and claim the assistance.
