Its not for people with hardship its for people out of work and seeking a job which is why, its not means-tested.
Some of you lot need to visit some of the less salubrious regions in the uk and smell the coffee. There are literally thousands and thousands of people who claim benefits and who have never worked, and never intend to. Fraudulently claiming benefits is their life.
Yet because I do something perfectly legally its not right.
Also, as someone pointed out once, dont we all use the tax laws to our advantage where we can? How many of you structure your tax affairs in such a way so that you pay more tax because you deem it fair? Not many I guess.Last edited by psychocandy; 6 May 2014, 15:27.Rhyddid i lofnod psychocandy!!!!Comment

I know a couple of people who struggled through business failures and said that with hindsight, they should have just gone bankrupt. It must be sickening to have to work to repay money that could have just been written off.
Don't have a lot of sympathy for BN66ers though. Will work inside IR35. Or for food.Comment

As opposed to my brother who spent all his tax money on beer, ignored the letters for years, knew he had to pay up, kept spending on beer, then tried to get out of paying the lot by claiming bankrupcy.
(Fortunately, he didnt manage it and he is now paying HMRC back. Hes got off with £1000s so far though which they've knocked off. Doesn't stop him moaning about how hard done by he is and how they are picking on him).Rhyddid i lofnod psychocandy!!!!Comment
