    SThree Q1 Results

Thought these might be of interest to the gentle folk of the professional forums. The results echo what I have been feeling over the last year, namely a steady improvement in the contracting market. Good news for us all.

    SThree - much more interesting

apparently SThree are Defendants i n law suit in US. It seems they must answer to charges of

"international management recruiter are little more than money launderers for the Ghaddafi family's looting of "Libyan national patrimony," according to a man who claims in court that he was one of its "multiple victims."

.... "Defendant SThree collaborated and conspired with the Palladyne defendants to utilize fraudulent inducement, mail fraud, wire fraud and other deceptive practices to lure the plaintiff to employment in what turned out to be no more than a kickback, bribe and money laundering scheme designed to conceal funds diverted by the Ghaddafi family, defendant Abudher's extended family, and other prominent officials of the since-deposed Libyan regime." ...

    Quite shocking I think

          I rather like the reposte...
A spokesman for Palladyne International told Courthouse News in an email: "These entirely untrue and ludicrous allegations have been made by a former employee who ... worked with us for just two months before being dismissed for gross misconduct. The fact that he has now filed a suit demanding damages of over US$500 million demonstrates the absurd nature of his claims, and we are taking legal action to protect the company."
