To be honest, unless you skip the actual contract step I can't see how you can do it?
If you get contract reviewed, it takes a day with QDOS. Thats even assuming agency get contract out straight away. In my experience, actual recruitment agent thinks its a done deal but then some admin person usually takes at least half a day to get contract sent.
Then, of course, theres usually at least one thing following contract review and the old opt out argument lol. Sure clients and agents live on another planet sometimes (but then I guess they just want you in and dont care that you're looking after your interests).
Got one now trying to sort me an interview for monday. Had him now saying OK, so I'll tell the client interview monday if they decide then, you can start the following monday so you can give a weeks notice in current gig. Yeah right - thats not even a week for starters.
