Going direct back to old client - how long can agency tie in for (NOT OPTED OUT)

Considering this. Remind me - how long can agency restrict this after the end of a contract? Or does it depend on individual contract?

Of course, I guess it also depends on the clients contract with the agency from their end too.

Guess different if opted out. Would it be same for client-agency contract stopping things from this end?

Fair point. I should have read that. But dont think this covers anything from client-agency?

i.e. even if I'm free to do so, the end client may be tied in to the contract they've signed with the agency.

Point being though whereas I might be free to do as I wish client may not. I can sign a contract now direct with any client I wish but this does not mean there is not something in the client-agency contract preventing them from doing so?
