        I worked with someone who had MoD DV but failed his MPS Baseline check due to a conviction when he was 15/16. He's now got DV 'top up' clearance with CESG so its a funny old world.

        Different agencies have different criteria, even in DV land there are different levels and you might not achieve all of them.

        P.S. Last time I checked, SC was valid upto a year from leaving your last cleared post. DV is void the moment you leave the post you held it in; it can be 'transferred' but this still takes 6-9 months.
