And for me it tells me all I need to know about the standards in play at that recruiter, lowest cost possible, outsourced to some hell hole of indentured servitude and no data protection rules in what its own head of anti corruption called the most corrupt country on the planet.
I was shocked and dismayed when asked to sign such form in 2012 with Experis (Manpower).
If UKIP are the answer, then it must have been a very stupid question.

Capita are asking more intrusive and personal questions than you need to answer to get the highest levels of security clearance, really taking the mickey.

And they are a UK company! Do they also ask for a Data Protection waiver?

          Could I ask a favour ?
Could you email me a scan or photo of the Capita form ?

So moving on from those agencies not being prepared to put your CV forward unless they have your wifes phone number, inside leg measurement, and so on… How about the agency you have repeatedly told to leave you alone? "http://www.ubiquesystems.co.uk" (sound like a bunch of Indian nationals here on uncapped ICT work visas) have been told by me many times that I wouldn’t never work for the stupidly low rates they want to offer, and please don’t put my CV forwards. Nevertheless they obviously are putting the CV forwards to their clients as they keep ringing up telling me the client loves my CV and will I do it for not very much + very little rate increase. How many ways of telling them to leave me alone can I try? Pity their poor clients.

Interestingly the "www.ubiquesystems.co.uk" website tells me that “The organisation believes in 5 basic beliefs” and “1 Maintenance of high ethical standards in external and internal relationships” is their top one. Now just how ethical is it to put forwards CV when the candidates has specifically told them not to?

Its the same on the permie side with regards to wanting information. I just started a new role and at the end things were held up as they wanted a utility bill from 2010. Just ridiculous.

Capita are on my avoid list purely because of the nonsense they ask you for before you've even fully apply for a gig. Tried reasoning with them and just got "computer says no". Foxtrot oscar then is my opinion

yep they are only going to get naive young things giving them all that info. in fact being prepared to give all that info at such an early part of the recruitment cycle pretty much would demonstrate how inexperienced that candiate was!

Just had a call from these guys, role coming up in a few weeks which ties-in nicely with my current gig ending.......in theory!

So, what's the word of late on AM? Anyone currently with them, got any experiences to chuck into the middle? Gig looks like my thing, no silly requests as yet, 30 day terms but with weekly billing no problem - all seems OK on the surface....

They have been around a long time. I doubt that they go out of their way to be difficult (apart from some basic initial recruitment processes) as that will only get in the way of business.
