There is a medium size IT consulancy based in Bath, but they tend to body shop their people out to client sites (wherever that might be).

Yep, IPL. Used to know a couple of people who worked there - they were pimped out to Nationwide up in Swindon most of the time.Originally posted by Project Monkey View PostThere is a medium size IT consulancy based in Bath, but they tend to body shop their people out to client sites (wherever that might be).
There are also a few marketing/design/graphics type outfits there - have had a couple of roles myself just to stay local but the money's generally crap.Comment

IPL and have a bunch of people at Nationwide, but i've also worked with them at EADS. They are all over the place (and to be honest, generally really good at what they do) From the description of the work going on by the OP it could be Eduserv?Originally posted by wurzel View PostYep, IPL. How long is the commute?Originally posted by bobspud View PostWe all get on a train and come to London
There are some extremely well paid Architects for MOD but they are all tied up through a Body shop come Agency. Other than that everything I have ever seen is student money...
I am really missing an underground scene somewhere...What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions!Comment

Supportable. Bath to Paddington is 1 hour 40 these days, trains every 30 minutes. Paddington to the City about 20 minutes if you walk to the Central Line at Lancaster Gate, 25-35 if you're lazy and use the Circle or Bakerloo routes.Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostHow long is the commute?
And being near the start of the route, you always get a seat...Last edited by malvolio; 21 June 2013, 13:51.Blog? What blog...?
