'cruiter asks for references, "names and numbers please" while also selecting the UK reference at the multi-national out of the three references which were global.
Hmm... not so sure about this, have been burnt on this before.

Still, picked a 4th out of the hat, a good colleague and friend that I knew I wouldn't burn if this turned out not to be what it said on the tin.

'cruiter called international and had a conversation. Got word that he seems to be genuine, spent 15 mins on the phone.
