Worst Month to be out of contract?

November? Surely no one hires before christmas, therefore guaranteed to be out of work until the new year. AND the weather's sh!t so you can't enjoy the time off.

    Any other opinions?

Picked up my first contract in Dec. last year. Started the job in Jan. Had Christmass off and enjoyed it knowing I had a new gig to go to in the new year.

IMO July/August is the worst time. Everyone else is on holiday and the people left behind are trying to get away with doing as little as possible so they can leave early and enjoy the weather.

                last month.

because it means you've had your well deserved break on the funds you saved up (and after all, your ltd co was still paying you) and you are now back on the grind.

October or November (especially in 2001 when I was last out big time). Days getting short and annual budgets getting shorter.
